This table is great. It was super easy to put together! I looked around at a lot of different tables and, for basically the same price, this one was the way to go. The others complained of cheap metals and bad welds, but this table is solid and very sturdy. It’s exactly what I was looking and hoping for. It gives me a place to do more food prep in my kitchen which has very limited counter space! I only needed one bench so I’m using the other as a coffee table.I've had this for a week and I'm really impressed. For the money the table and benches feel really sturdy, and I love the color. Because it is slightly lower than a normal table it looks smaller than what it actually is, and does not obstruct the view if you put it next to a window. Looks very clean and classy (went with the espresso color). I'm regular size (5 foot 10) and it works great, my roommate (a little over 6 feet tall) says it also feels alright, though a bit small (naturally).I was concerned this would be too small based on other reviews but it is not, it is great for a small space. It is made of actual wood and doesn't seem cheap like the metal ones. For the price, it was a great purchase. The bench even doubles as a coffee table.So perfect for my tiny house. I have a very small kitchen so I needed a table like this one and I couldn’t be happier! It’s sturdy yet lightweight at the same time so if I want to change the layout with more company it’s super simple to do. Thank you!This table easily fits 4 and could fit 2 on the sides in chairs if needed. This was the easiest piece of furniture I’ve ever put together, and it took me about 45 minutes by myself.Real wood. It's beautiful and sturdy. Easy to assemble.easy to assemble, looks like the picIt is compact, the benches fit neatly underneath the table. Love the espresso finish. And it has held up after 5-6 months use with young kids running about. However there are some issues:1) There is not much wiggle room between bench corners and table legs when sliding bench under; if not careful, the corners can gouge the table legs :o( Afterwards, I put protective pads on the bench corners to help prevent that2) Unfortunately my dining area is carpeted (I'm renting so can't change that lol), so the benches are little wobbly. I think they would be less so on hard flooring, but would be nice if the benches were more weighted at the bottom to increase sturdiness. My kids have taken a few tumbles off and with the benches, but they have adapted lol3) The frame of the table that the table top rests on does NOT have smooth/rounded edges. Why does it matter? The long edges are pointy enough that if you are not careful sliding into seating position on the bench, the tops of your thighs can get scraped up pretty good. My youngest one climbs on top of the bench and slides her legs in under the table, sometimes scratching her legs in the process. No bueno :o(Despite those annoyances, it's table/bench set that does what it's supposed to at the given price point.BTW I should probably not comment on the durability of the tabletop surface as I immediately put a protective plastic cover on it to prevent gouges and for easy cleanup. However the wood composition is soft based on my experience with the table legs, so probably best to have something hard underneath to write/draw on to protect surface.After moving flats - we’ve been on the hunt for a dining table and chairs that wouldn’t cost more than £200+ and honestly what a STEAL this table set is. We went for the benches and table set and it arrived quickly and packaged really really well.Incredibly easy to assemble by one person and the quality is pretty good. It’s sturdy and doesn’t wobble and it’s comfortable to sit at, eat from and work from etc. Really pleased for the price point.Definitely recommend!!Ok, the table and chairs in itself is lovely. It is well packaged unlike a lot of products nowadays and comes with a nifty gadget to put everything together with so much ease ! It’s ridiculous.However, it’s damaged a second !I’m so upset and hanging onto it simply due to cannot afford to resend ( cheers British Amazon) and reorder.There are several areas that been very badly chilled? So bad that have dips and chunky marks in the top of the table making them unlevel.Very disappointed Amazon, you could have marked this as a second? And been honest.This table is very attractive and sturdy, was really quick and easy to put together, I love the benches as I can fit 6 children around it and they tuck underneathwhile not in use, so very space efficient, it's great value for money too!This table and benches were nicely packaged with decent tools included, very easy to put together. We found it seated 4 comfortably for Christmas day and had enough room for serving bowls to be on the table. Could fit 6 at a push with chairs added at ends of table. Do be careful with banging things on it though as wood is a little soft and can dent easily, I keep a table protector on it to prevent this. Overall it’s a lovely table and benches and looks more expensive than it is.Table top come with a flaw in the wood right in the middle,
